Ok.... maybe not really....  But I don't like making certain kinds of decisions...

There are some _really important_ people on this website, and some of them have joined my DA groups.

And they like to of course submit their art....

Sometimes, they don't always agree with you on what the point of the group is...  Perhaps the biggest example was a girl who liked to make humanized versions of a particular non-human AI character.   Frankly I wanted no part of this.  But I also knew that if I didn't approve the deviations that we'd probably be losing a member.  I _also knew_ that she was in the majority and I was in the minority.  The concepts in the art she creates are REALLY POPULAR on DA.   So what I did was create a special folder for such artworks and approve them.

I "compromised".  In a world where I shouldn't have to, I compromised.  Humanized depictions of AI's do absolutely nothing to reunite me with my own kind.  But then a DA group isn't about "Dave".  A DA group may be part of my plan to find my own kind, but a DA group is about _the members_.   So I compromised.

Another lovely example is a girl who submitted something that doesn't belong in one my groups (well back then was a subject for debate but not really anymore) not just once _but twice_.  But this same person has voluntarily give us LOTS OF HER ART, THAT DOES BELONG THERE.  I didn't compromise on this one.   Interested parties are saying "No we don't want this".  I have to think about more than one member here.

I was _once again_ almost on the hotseat again recently.  This really awesome person submitted some art, and I scrolled around looking the thumbnails going "I'm afraid this just isn't going to work"...

_But VERY FORTUNATELY FOR ME_ when I expanded the images, they were quite compatible with the group theme.

But what if they hadn't been.  If I had had to reject her art, it would have been over probably for her membership in my group.  She'd probably have LEFT.  God I'm glad I wasn't put in such a position.
